ISRAEL IN AN UPROAR OVER BEST SELLER BOOK

According to an article by Joshua Holland on AlterNet, the explosive book by Tel Aviv University scholar Shlomo Zand or Sand, has sent ripples of shock throughout Israeli society. The book, published in 2008 (as of this writing no English translation) became a best-seller in Israel. The title of the book is When and How Was the Jewish People Invented? Holland goes on to say, "And what if most modern Israelis aren't descended from the ancient Israelites at all, but are actually a mix of Europeans, North Africans and others who didn't 'return' to the scrap of land we now call Israel…" Holland continues with, "What if the entire tale of the Jewish Diaspora—the story recounted at Passover tables by Jews around the world every year detailing the ancient Jews' exile from Judea, the years spent wandering through the desert, their escape from the Pharaoh's clutches—is all wrong?"

Several years ago, I authored an article for my blog titled History: A Tapestry of Hallucinations. And in this blog posting I ask "What if the history we have been taught in schools and religions isn't true?" During the period of researching for my books Secrets of the Magdalene Scrolls and Mary Magdalene, Her Legacy, I learned that history is a fluid movement according to who is writing the history. James Cameron who wrote the Introduction to The Jesus Family Tomb wrote, "I came to realize that history is a consensus hallucination. It is a myth upon which we all agree to agree." I use the word hallucination in the context of perceived reality or a false or mistaken idea.

In my research, I found that most Western researchers and so-called authorities on the Bible missed a wealth of information by not concentrating on Egyptian history. What has been postulated is recycled ignorance and this includes the much-quoted Jewish historian Josephus. The validity of Josephus is suspect. Author/researcher Ralph Ellis began comparing the information in the autobiography of Josephus and the supposedly biography of the Apostle Paul in the New Testament Book of Acts. When comparing their lives, births and travels, they are too similar to dismiss. Could Josephus have created Paul? Perhaps Paul represented what Josephus wanted to be. This also reflects on the Jewish history.

My understanding of the great Exodus from the Hebrew point of view is that the Jews were enslaved and wanted to be free of the tyranny of Egypt. Under the guidance of Moses and his brother Aaron, they departed Egypt and wandered for 40 years before they came to the Promised Land. Have you ever wondered where they spent those 40 years when it only takes about three hours to travel by SUV from the Nile Delta to Palestine?

There are a number of researchers who question the validity of the Exodus story. Published on October 29, 1999, Ze'ev Herzog wrote an article titled, "Deconstructing the walls of Jericho" In Ha'aretz, the leading newspaper in Israel stating that after "70 years of intensive excavations in Israel, archaeologists learned that the Israelites did not sojourn to Egypt or make an exodus. They did not wander in the desert." If there is no evidence of Israelites being in Egypt, then what is the Exodus all about?

Perhaps the Israelites were known under another name other than the one given in the Old Testament. If one were to research Egyptian history as given in hieroglyphics, paintings and other ancient writings, then another picture begins to unfold. This is like cracking a hidden code. The Jewish scholars who promote the hypothesis that the world is only 5764 years old could be correct from the point of view that the Jews or Hebrews had no beginning prior to 5764 BCE. I also found that Jewish history scholars could not agree upon the timelines when important events took place such as the Exodus. In The Gift of the Jews by Thomas Cahill, he writes that the Talmud came into being from oral history and there is no reliable record of written Hebrew before the 10th century BCE. If you have ever played the 'whisper' or 'telephone' game, you have an idea of how garbled the original statements become.

Immanuel Velikovsky researched Egyptian history and the O.T. history extensively without the use of a computer or Internet. His research indicated that Egyptian history and the O.T. history were parallels and when he learned how to reconcile the differences in the time counted, he realized their histories were the same. When in the O.T. it is written that Abraham journeyed south into Gerar, it could be he was traveling into Egypt because the names Gerar and Egypt were the same. What is revealed is the Hyksos were also the Israelites.

Where did the Hyksos come from? Some allege they came from Babylonia and others say Anatolia or Asia. What is known is that the Hyksos came to Lower Egypt bringing with them chariots and horses, which had been previously unknown in Egypt. It was at this time that Egypt was split in two with Lower Egypt ruled by Hyksos pharaohs and Upper Egypt including Ethiopia and Nubia ruled by Egyptian pharaohs. The approximate span for this split was from 1780 BCE to 1560 BCE.

It becomes even more interesting that the pharaohs and those called kings had many different names. According to Velikovsky, there was the birth name, throne name, a name for different countries and it was usual to change the name by royal decrees so that the name would sound more agreeable to the ears of foreign people. As an example: A pharaoh of the Middle Kingdom changed the name of Joseph (Genesis 41-45) to Zaphnaph-Paaneah. Therefore, it is a challenge to know who was who. We cannot assume that the names given in the Old Testament are the correct names. It is much like wandering through a labyrinth of truths and fiction.

There is much more to be revealed and in my next article, I will write about the Exodus and another view of the story.

POWER - CORRUPTION OR THE RIGHT USE

The right use of power has been hidden from the masses for hundreds of years. There was great hope when the Declaration of Independence became a reality, however as with most beautiful things for the good of all they have barnacles attached to them. John Quincy Adams wrote the following: "All the public business in Congress now connects itself with intrigues, and there is great danger that the whole government will degenerate into a struggle of cabals." I began thinking about the power of corruption and am realizing it has been in power for centuries and perhaps eons – yet people still hope for moral men to lead our government.

I have noted that with Obama being the president-elect that some people assume that he is a trickster. I would like to think that he is a man of his word and he does give the people of this country hope. It is my observation that too many people have lost faith in the government. This is not a new thing and by failing to become involved with the elected leaders, have as Bess Myserson stated, "The accomplice of the crime of corruption is frequently our own indifference."

In my research, I came across The Idaho Encyclopedia – written during the Great Depression. The chapter on the history of state government is most enlightening. Idaho was part of the Washington Territory in the second half of the 1800's. As miners and settlers began coming into the portion of what is now Idaho, each camp had its own customs or rules along with a judge, a recorder, and an executive officer of some sorts. Attorneys could be found in large camps, which became towns. There was what was called a miners' meeting that became the final source of authority. It was similar to a New England town meeting. It also put into practice "the fundamental American doctrines of equality and manhood suffrage." You will notice that women were not considered. This method worked for a while, but the lawlessness of desperados and banditry called for more law enforcement. Therefore the Idahoans petitioned the Territorial Government to become its own independent territory. This was rejected and the people petitioned the U.S. government to become a state. Idaho became a state in 1863.

The new citizens of the state of Idaho were affected by this move. Author Vardis Fisher states, "The first and most serious of these impediments to order were (1) Political corruption; (2) Crime and violence; (3) Inflated speculation in mining; (4) Poor roads; and (5) Indian troubles. The people thinking their problems would be handled had to face the political corruption along with crime and violence. Doesn't this reflect what we are seeing today? It would appear that political corruption has been a bane throughout history along with crime and violence. Where does morality come in?

Vardis goes on to write that both the Democrats and Republicans were considered corrupt even before the territory became a state. "Between the strife of the two parties, concern for the public good almost disappeared. The Republican machine, desperate to gain the spoils of office, made use of such questionable and corrupt maneuvers as were calculated to offset the overwhelming numerical strength of the Democrats. These factional intrigues and counterplots resulted, very naturally, in shortsighted and nonsensical legislation." Doesn't this apply today? This quote reflected on Idaho in the 1860's.

As Obama takes the oath of office, there are those waiting in the wings to criticize him or condemn, others who are playing the wait-and-see game as well as those acting with indifference. We are at a pivotal point of change and this can be the greatest change in history. We have an opportunity to connect with our government and insist that we want to move beyond corruption. We want to have a healthy environment. We want to move from dependency on oil to alternative fuels. The moment has come for us to dance to a new rhythm and reclaim the power of the people with our government elected officials serving the needs of the people. The time has arrived for a new march. Use the website www.change.gov and let Obama and his team know what you are wanting – demanding. Write your national senators and representatives and demand action. Write your state legislators and demand action. Let us keep the momentum going and see a new era – a new way of life. We have to also do our part and that is to be actively involved instead of indifferent. There is no time like this time.

ARE YOU WILLING TO SHIFT?

BE A SHIFT-CHANGER WITH THE "FREEDOM NOW" PROJECT, a world focus to bring forth a shift on this planet. This concept is simple and anyone can do it. It costs no money and the time in participating is minimal.

PURPOSE:
Freedom is a mode of living desired by most people. My knowledge and understanding is that people want freedom from oppression, poverty, wars, prejudices, enslavement and whatever you want to encompass in the thought of Freedom.
Love is a power that can change anything if we accept love and believe in love. Love has a frequency that can overpower hatred, anger, prejudices and bigotry. Love looks beyond the outward appearances and true love is unconditional. We do not force the shifts--we allow them to happen.
Gratitude is being thankful for life, what we are, what we have and by offering gratitude we send out the frequency that we are being thankful that our efforts are already accomplished. The shifts desired are accomplished. Gratitude is to never deviate from the desired outcome. Gratitude is picturing our desire as having already happened.
Love + Gratitude = Freedom = Peace.
The intent of The For Freedom Now Project is to create a shift in the world from abuse, discrimination, bigotry, poverty, anger, hatred, wars, and enslavement through the use of love and gratitude. As an experiment, there is nothing to lose. We have everything to gain. Today there are enormous challenges for all of us all over the world. There is war, the killing and maiming of women, children and men. There is a global collapsing of the economy, women have not become full-fledged participants on the world stage and there continues to be the suppression of women's rights, rape, and abuse along with the abuse of children. World hunger is escalating and instead of this being an evolving world; the appearances are that it is on a downward spiral.

This is the time to heal our woundedness. Women have carried woundedness in their souls for eons. Now is the opportunity to heal and to give to the world a shift that will enable it to evolve into something greater. From my mind came the concept of a world focus to bring forth a shift on this planet. This concept is simple and anyone can do it. It costs no money and the time in participating is minimal.

As an addendum to the focusing on love and gratitude, here are two affirmations that are suggested to repeat often during your day:
I am always filled with love and gratitude for my life.
I have always loved and appreciated me.

LOVE > GRATITUDE > FREEDOM > PEACE

ACTION:
By linking our intents, we make a difference as Shift-Changers.
~ Once a day—morning or night, we each enter the quiet place in our minds in a meditative or prayerful state. When we enter our closet of silence, we mentally link with those unseen and unknown people in the world who volunteered for this project.
~ We link with these like minds by visualizing a net covering the globe – the Earth. At each cross-section, we each become a point of light. The lines represents the intent of love and gratitude connecting us.
~ We begin projecting love and gratitude into this net all over the world and visualize it moving all around the world. (We do not have to meet in person. We can link with our minds from our homes and whatever country we live in.)
~ We will do this daily for 60 days or longer. It is not required that we do this at a specific time. The only request is that you make the time available in your life to link with the others participating in this project.
~ You are asked to keep a record of any shifts you notice in your life and in the world and to email me this information.

BACKGROUND:
Having attended an academy of the mind for twenty years, I have learned the power of words, the frequencies and about quantum physics. From this, I learned that the observer could change anything. From this school came the movie What the Bleep when Ramtha directed William Arntz, a student to make it. This movie became a worldwide success and Arntz with current students at that time—Betsy Chasse and Mark Vincente created a memorable movie with top scientists, one of which was Dr. John Hagelin. Before the movie was made, I heard Dr. Hagelin speak and he told of an experiment that his group in Iowa who practiced Transcendental Meditation chose to focus on Washington D.C. with their purpose being to change the crime rate. As I recall, they did this for 60 days and the statistical results is that 4,000 participants from 81 countries using T.M. focused on the reduction of homicides, rapes and assaults. After the 60 days, the D.C. police department showed that the crime rate went down over 20%.
According to an interview with Dr. Hagelin, he said: "The impact of our actions, individually and collectively, is inconceivably vast. We can all appreciate to some extent, the environmental impact of polluting behavior. But based on what we now know about the universe, the true impact of our actions is far broader. For example, chaos theory has established that even our most minute actions can have incalculably large effects. This places a great burden of responsibility on everyone. Exercising common sense consideration and care towards our environment is a good start. If we really want to protect our planet against the negative effects of human behavior, we must bring our thinking and action into spontaneous accord with Natural Law. We must align our behavior with the universal intelligence that governs the universe and sustains millions of species on Earth." Dr. Hagelin went on to say, "The development of our total brain potential and the resulting expansion of human comprehension to be universal should be the goal of education today." In 1994 Dr. Hagelin was awarded a lg Nobel Prize based on the above study and presented by genuine Nobel laureates.
If 4,000 people focusing on reducing the crime rate in Washington D.C. can reduce it within a 60-day period, then if we link minds with more than 4,000 people we can create a shift towards freedom and peace in the world. Please join me in participating in this great experiment.

PASSION AND THE FOR FREEDOM NOW PROJECT
Passion is an interesting word with a variation of meanings, i.e. the powerful emotion of love, joy, hatred or anger. It also encompasses a strong sexual desire such as lust. There is another aspect of passion that I have and that is enthusiasm. I have a passion or enthusiasm to right the wrongs done to women over the eons. I have a passion to see the end of racial hatred and prejudice. I have a passion to see the end of the abuse of children, women and all people. I have the passion to see an end to poverty. I have passion to see the unlimited potentials flower in all people. I have a passion for life.
I grew up in segregated Texas in the midst of bigotry and prejudice. When I entered the Foreign Service, U.S. State Department and worked in the embassies in Paris and Tokyo, an entire new world opened up for me and it was easy to shed the prejudices and bigotry. I will admit there was a residue within me until I received an important education from a Japanese friend when I lived in Hawaii. She told me she was 12 years of age when the Americans arrived at the end of WWII. She lived in Osaka and she said they could smell the Americans before they could see them. I was shocked. It had never dawned on me that Americans could smell. We discussed this and, she went on to tell me that the Americans cooked differently and these odors mixed with the shaving creams, toothpaste, deodorants, shoe polish, the canvas tents, clothing created an odor that was not Japanese. This triggered a memory in me of riding a crowded bus with black people in Houston, Texas before I moved away from Texas. Their odor was overpowering and foreign to me. It was years later while driving through Birmingham, Alabama on a November day that I smelled the same odor. I realized that these people cooked on wood stoves and ate different foods from me. This realization was the last residue of any prejudices I had of black people. We never look beyond the surface. My lesson was not to judge but to look beyond the surface.

It is so easy to create a bias or prejudice when something is different from what is in our own small world. During these elections in the U.S., racial discrimination reared its ugly head. The slurs and lies created only harm each of us. I have contemplated what I want to see in this world and that is freedom from the thoughts and beliefs that bind us to the outmoded past. In order to be free, I realize that we must give up these old beliefs and see with a new perspective. I have thought of the attributes of freedom and the following is what has come to me.

Love is an attribute of freedom, because true love looks beyond the outward appearances. Most people love conditionally all over the world. Often it is thought love is felt or given if it is to a lover, a child, one's family, or to those who think the same way as we do. Too often, we withhold love from those who need it the most. Questions I have asked myself: Can I love the derelict on the street? Am I able to love someone who is crippled, ugly and deformed? Can I love a murderer? Can I love a rapist? Can I love a beggar? Can I love one who has opposing views? Can I love an abuser? Can I love a raciest, a bigot, a liar or a pornographer? These are some of the questions I have asked myself when I am tempted to condemn and judge. This does not mean I have to love and approve of their behavior or their actions.

Gratitude is appreciation. If you are reading this, then it indicates you are alive. Be thankful for life. I can look back on all the adversities in my life and realize they have brought me to this point in my life. I can now see the jewels of wisdom that emerged from them. By being a shift-changer, your own life will change. Are we seeing the glass half-full, or are we seeing it half-empty? The majority of people do not realize that by changing one attitude—one belief that they make a difference in the world.

Recently I re-read Morning of the Magicians and came across this quote from an obscure book titled Where is the World Going? by Walter Rathenau who was assassinated in 1922. This
most troubled epoch is worthy of respect, because it is the work not just of a few people but of humanity; and thus it is the work of creative nature—which is cruel but never absurd. If this epoch in which we are living is a cruel one it is more than ever our duty to love it, to penetrate it with our love till we have removed the heavy weight of matter screening the light that shines on the farther side. Even the After contemplating this quote, I realize that in order to have freedom and peace, we must indeed love our enemies even though we do not condone their actions. We must look beyond the surface and see the core of them—the connection to the Creator. This does not mean we have to invite them into our homes, but we can love the hidden divine spark in them.

How do we deflect anger, hurt, and attacks? We do not retaliate. Instead, we send out the frequency of love and it is said love conquers all—a quote from Virgil's Eclogue X--his poems Eclogues. The frequency of love is higher than the frequency of hatred. We only give power to hatred when we accept it. We also give gratitude for who we are, what we have and the mind to focus and create a shift in this world. Please join me in this project. THE MAGIC KEY

Last spring during a book signing, I noticed a man wearing a baseball hat with the word Imagine emblazoned on the front of it. I complimented the man on his choice and he promptly took it off and gave the cap to me. I wore the cap a few times and it wasn't until this past week that someone noticed the words on the cap and thought it was Imagenie. We commented on the word and I began thinking about the power this one word has. Imagine.

I have a love for words and when I began examining the word, I realized it is filled with power. The first two letters are im or I am. I am is a decree. When ever we say I am sick, behold--we are sick. We can also say I am wealthy and if we accept it, then we are.

Embedded in the word imagine is the word magi. Magi has an exotic sounding and this is primarily from being mentioned in the Bible as the wise men who came to see Jesus when he was born. Where did they come from? Some say from Persia. I have my own interpretation and that is the Magi were teachers from the Ancient Schools of Wisdom and Jesus learned from them.

Another word within the word imagine is magic if we add the letter 'c'. Ah, the magician who conjures up something miraculous. Many people of today look upon them as illusionists or charlatans. Some could be and then, there is a latent magician within each of us waiting to be used.

Returning to my friend first seeing the word Imagenie on my cap, we can now see that by adding an e that we now have I'm a genie and as I have written in my book Awakening the Genie Within, it is true. Each of us has the power of imagination to bring forth that which we truly desire when we can put away doubt and fear. The genie is the spirit within--the giver of all desires if we don't cancel them out with doubts and fears. We are the genius, the magi, the magician and we only have to imagine by placing a visual image behind our forehead. Voila! We have the Magic Key to the future ~ Imagine.

OUR INVISIBLE WORLD ~ CHAINS OR WINGS?

This morning the thought came to me about our invisible life. Few of us give much thought to how much of our life is invisible. We are caught up in what we see, touch, feel, taste and smell. I contemplated the invisibility of my life and came to the conclusion that each of us lives in a world that is mostly invisible. For instance, we live in a web of entangled rules and regulations. These came about because someone or some group created them and put them down on paper. These laws and regulations only exist on paper. They are not tangible, but the majority of us accept them. Have you ever actually ever seen a law? What does it look like? We only know the consequences if we are caught not obeying the law or the regulation. Thus, we are governed by a belief system that is invisible. Sometimes these invisible laws appear to strangle us.

Another invisible belief is debt. Have you ever seen a debt? It only exists due to a belief system that if we purchase a piece of property and do not pay cash for it, then we get a mortgage and a debt with interest. Where does the debt exist? There are words and numbers on paper and an entry on a computer. The same goes for a credit card, and if a payment isn't received on time, then we have to pay more. Debt is not tangible. It is only something we believe is real.

Money is also invisible and only represented by a coin, paper and our agreement that it is real. Have you ever seen actual money, or are you accepting coin, paper and credit cards as money? It is something to think about.

Our lives are governed by what we agree to and accept. People's lives are governed by invisible beliefs and customs. Religions tell us that God is outside of people and only a priest, preacher, pastor or minister can interpret what God's laws are and how we should live. Have you ever wondered how they know that God is outside the human? It is all invisible information handed down in ignorance. The Holy Bible was written by men and re-interpreted by men down through the ages. It is only a road-map or a treasure map according to what one's beliefs are.

The beliefs we accept are invisible and operate on a frequency. It is similar to a radio frequency. It depends on what station we are tuned into. Our emotions determine our frequencies. Our emotions are invisible, but we experience the frequency of the emotion. Too often people get stuck in their web of unseen frequencies and become ill, feel like they are tied down by responsibilities, hate their jobs, hold on to grudges, anger, hatred, sorrow, regret, guilt and these emotional frequencies only tighten the invisible noose of the frequency web.

When we say I can't or it is too hard, then it is because of the frequency emitted. However, if we turn it around and say or think it's possible or I can, then we allow new possibilities to come to us. It has taken me a life-time to arrive at these conclusions that I am sharing now.

First, I want to point out that we are living in a world of positives and negatives, which are something like a see-saw. When our beliefs, thoughts and words we say reflect negatives then we tap into that frequency. The same goes true for positive and this means that we will have our ups and our downs. When we recognize that our ups and downs are created by our thoughts, words and beliefs, then we can change and ride the wave, so to speak.

Too often people will think that by being positive all the time is the secret, but unless our basic beliefs are changed we bounce back and forth. I have changed a multitude of beliefs and it is something like peeling an onion--layer by layer. The more I become detached and observe a belief or a situation, the more I am at peace within myself. Peace is born within the mind and we are the creators of our mind. It is something to think about.

On August 27, 2008 the planet Mars will appear to the naked eye to be as large as the moon and therefore it will look as if there are two moons during August. Mars will be 34.65 million miles from Earth. Synchronicity of this is that I had been researching about blue moons! Here is my research and this Mars event is once in a blue moon.

Have you ever wondered what the phrase means, once in a blue moon? In my research, I learned that it means an irregular timed full moon that occurs every two to three years. A full moon is usually a 30-day cycle with about 11 days left over. It is said that these days carry over and there occurs two full moons in one month. Thus came the saying, once in a blue moon. Apparently there is a blue colored moon and it is a rare event when it literally becomes visible. The first photo on the right is a NASA photo.

No, the photo shown on the left is not a blue moon. It is a photo of the Earth taken by a satellite and it is titled the Blue Marble. In 1933, Bing Crosby made the song Where the Blue of the Night popular and the lyrics go on to say Where the blue of the night meets the gold of the day. I take it to mean it is the brief moments just before the sun goes down beyond the horizon and the descent into night.

The second NASA photo on the right is of a blue sun. The photo was taken when the sun was emitting extreme ultraviolet rays. These colors for both the sun and moon happen when they are going through phases of the Visible Light spectrum and do not often occur.

With the blue moon metaphorically described as a rare event, there is also the apt description of a blue rose. A true blue rose is rare and its meanings are mystery, impossible and enchantment.

In researching the various meanings of terms we use, I wondered where the term Blue Monday came from and apparently Monday is considered to be a sad day because people have to return to work after a week-end. This led me to the term I feel blue. The original meaning came into being from rains and thunder storms. It is the hue of that portion of the visible spectrum lying between green and indigo. Therefore people began thinking of it as dark and dreary. Feeling Blue is also associated with a custom among old deep water sailing ships. When a ship lost the captain or any of its officers during a voyage, the ship would fly blue flags to and also have a band of blue painted along the ships hull when it returned to its home port.

In Greek mythology, it is said the god Zeus would make rain when he was sad and a storm when he was angry. old deep water sailing ships. Therefore, the feeling said and using the word blue goes back to ancient times.

This leads into singing the blues. The genre of Blues is attributed to African-American music, which came into popularity as far back as 1912. It originated during the times of slavey when the slaves sang work songs, spirituals, field hollers and shouts and chants. It has within it a blue note that is sung or played at a slightly lower pitch than that of the major musical scale. The Blues has become the roots of jazz, rythm and blues and bluegrass to name a few.

Blues may be associated with sadness, depression and loss, however from this terminology I can see a depth of beauty that is unsurpassed. It is all an interpretation.

GIVING YOUR POWER AWAY

As I peruse Internet and blogs, I am noting that many people give their power away to something outside of them. During the early days of my awakening, I investigated many avenues and realized that they were things and people outside of myself. There are a number of beliefs that by chanting a mantra, using crystals, using crosses, bibles, fortune tellers, tarot cards, horoscopes and other modalities that one's life will change for the better. Perhaps it will--for awhile. It was as though someone or something outside of me would do the changing for me. At first I thought there was something wrong with me until I realized that there is something right about me. I was awakening into my power.

We also give our power away to the medical profession, i.e. physicians and medications. As I peruse these blogs and articles, I sigh and wonder when will people become aware that the power is really within them. However, as the supposedly "good book" states, It is done unto you as you believe. This is a truth. If one accepts, which means believes a death sentence given by a physician, then the person will die. I know, because my deceased sister accepted this sentence and refused to accept prayers from various religious denominations or even attempted to use another modality of healing.

This goes also for diets and dieting. I know that diets are never lasting unless the root cause is realized and dealt with. We think we are overweight, but according to whose standards? When we accept someone's reality that an ideal weight is such and such, then we have given our power away. If we think we are not pretty or handsome, and we fall into the trap of using the right code of dress, hair style, etc, we are giving our power away.

The power within us is powerful and just waiting to be acknowledge. It is time for us to think for ourselves and not let special interests or people dictate to us how to think, act or dress. There is a genie lurking inside of us just waiting to be activated. We never have to be abused and we never have to be 'put down.' It really comes down to beliefs and attitudes and these we can change. What is it that we accept? What is it we want to change? How to we regain our power?

Extraterrestrials - Friends or Enslavers

To the left is NASA's photo of the Earth - labeled The Blue Marble. It is gorgeous. Have you ever wondered why there is such a proliferation of extraterrestrial visitations and interest? Their visitations are recorded back into ancient history. Earthlings were primitive beings 450,000 years ago when the Annunaki from the planet Nibiru discovered the Earth while seeking gold to seed the atmosphere of their planet whose elongated orbit needed it to bring light when the planet was its furthest from the sun. I won't go into the history of the Annunaki because Zechariah Sitchen's books give excellent information about the settlements and also how the eartling inhabitants were genetically engineered with the Annunaki to bring forth the human form as we know today.

The chief scientist was a woman named Ninhursag or Mammy. She, together with her half-brother Enki created a worker being for the gold mines and we evolved. They did not create the intelligence that inhabits the body. No, we are inhabited by our individual connection to the Great Creator that some call God. Therefore, we are gods operating a human body through our brain. I have heard Ramtha say that the human brain is the greatest computer ever created. In fact, the human brain has unlimited possibilities.

What does this have to do with extraterrestrials, or ET's? For one thing, there have been visitations for eons. There has been numerous books written about them, in addition to movies such as Close Encounters of the Third Kind-1977 by Steven Spielberg. Spielberg went on to make E.T. and the Star Wars movies. In addition we have Gene Roddenberry's great television series Star Trek. The movies and the television series sparked an interest in the minds of the American public. Are these movies only entertainment, or are they giving us a message?

We also have many reports of alien abductions, cattle mutilations and the suppression by our government re UFOs and Area 51. I have read countless articles and books. I have watched videos and I did this as an observer, because I wasn't too sure who were the good aliens and who were the bad ones. Recently a friend loaned me a book and this book sparked an interest in me. I felt like that at last, I had an answer to many of my questions.

Actually there are two books by Marshall Vian Summers titled The Allies of Humanity - Book 1 and the same title - Book 2, which have given me a different perspective than most books and reports. There are numerous civilizations living in this quadrant of the Milky Way. Why would we need to contact them with radio when they can read our minds? I now understand that Star Trek and Star Wars do have some merit, because these civilizations of entities do travel around the galaxy on trade routes and conducting commerce. What is their commerce? Technology, resources and biological resources.

Yes, they have given governments of the planet technology with Hitler being one. No wonder our government doesn't want to admit that they are here, because we are getting technology from them all the time. This planet is a jewel and the earth resources are tremendously prized. The biological resources of this planet are prized too--especially the humans.

I contemplated what I read and I realize that we humans have a superior brain that can access anything and anywhere. Why is it limited? We have been kept dumbed down and therefore we are an enslaved species. For the most part, we humans have been kept in the syndrome of good and bad. There have been wars for eons. Our focus has not been on developing our minds, which is done by using our brains. Our brains have endless neuron networks. In my father's house are many mansions, and these mansions are visited when we change our attitudes, our beliefs and become open-minded to new ideas and new concepts.

Summers who writes for the Allies wrote: "Knowledge is the only part of you that cannot be manipulated or influenced. It is the source of all wise understanding and actions." Knowledge in this context refers to spiritual Knowledge--not religion. There is a vast difference. Spiritual Knowledge is to realize that the Creator or God resides within each individual and can be accessed at any moment. We do not need a religion to interpret for us. The Allies gave three principles to develop within each of us individually and those are Knowledge, freedom and strength.

Strength can imply different meanings. For me, I interpret this to mean developing the power of my mind and I know I won't do this if I hold on to the past, fear, anger, resentments, being a victim to whatever we think prevents us from living a life of joy and abundance. There is no savior outside of our self. We have to be our own saviors. If we do not develop this aspect of our self, then we become enslaved to the whims and ideals of others and this includes those who do not live on this planet. It is something to think about.

Captured Minds

Yesterday I was reading an article by the late Alan Watts, a philosopher. It was a brilliant short piece about men's clothing. I learned that it was in England where the sobriety in men's clothing began in the 19th century. Watts derided the shackle business suits are for men. What does this have to do with captured minds? Think about it. Very little has changed in the style of men's suits since Beau Brummel first made them popular. I remember noticing on a trip to Germany in the late 1970's a group of businessmen in a posh hotel bar and they almost looked cloned in their dark suits--black or dark gray--and white shirts with a conservative tie. This style of dress for men has a subliminal message of power and of course, if a man in business in the corporate world wants to get ahead, then he must dress conservatively. He wants to be one of the 'boys.'

This subliminal message spills over to their private lives. The majority of men fall for the subliminal programming that a man must be macho, he must be the boss of his woman or the women who work for him. Included in this is the military and their brutal programming and they have to have it in order to kill the enemy. A majority of men come under the spell of sports, video games, hunting, partying, bars, and seducing women, while others are derided because they enjoy other pursuits.

It is no wonder that we have temper-tantrums of rage and there is now an epidemic of road rage, office rage, golf rage, wife beating and other forms of rage. It is a sickness of the spirit and most men do not recognize it and have no knowledge of how to deal with their rage. They succumb to alcoholism or drug abuse.

Women have been taught to suppress their rage, but they have also been programmed by society, religions and advertising. Women's rage comes out in various forms such as jealousy, petty gossip, envy, nagging and thinking they have to please a man or look good to attract a man. Women are emerging into the realization that they are intelligent and yet, they fight the battle in the business, scientific and government worlds. It's hard for men who are entrenched in those areas to accept that women could be smarter than they are.

The abuse of women in relationships has become rampant and if you beat someone up enough, then the brain goes into a mode of acceptance and it is difficult for a woman to leave the abuse. Many women also succum to alcoholism, drugs and abuse their children. Theirs is indeed a captured mind. Change is possible and it takes courage to move from abuse to wholeness.

I have written a book about changing the mind. It is a simple book filled with tools I used in my own journey from ignorance into knowing. The title is Awakening the Genie Within. Most people only need the desire to change because they realize their life is not working for them. I understand and this is why I am sharing a portion of my awakening. RAGE - HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED...

There is a proliferation of rage incidents that has become a world-wide epidemic. Have you ever wondered what is underlying cause is? Within the past year there are news reports of increasing road rage. In fact, someone smart sicko has produced cards that one can display that has a vulgar remark printed on it. Road Rage has expanded to include Office Rage and with the domino effect we now have Golf Rage along with rage in the waiting rooms of medical centers, an increase of rage and abuse in air travel with the latest form of rage reported in Florida. A man became enraged because his lawn mower would not start. He went into his house and got his shotgun. Yes, he actually shot his lawn mower several times.

Acts of rage are spreading all over the world including Russia and the UK. I have noted that the majority of rage incidents are perpetuated by men. Why men? If one reflects on history, men were taught to suppress their emotions and especially the military. I was married to a career U.S. Marine and I know. Fortunately he was away two-thirds of our marriage and I was able to raise our sons the way I wanted to. I allowed our sons to express emotions. They are very male-oriented and now married.

It is very moving to watch the Marine Silent Drill Team with every Marine like a robot. Yes, a robot--only human. Military men are taught to kill the enemy and the outcome is damaging to the male psych, because it suppresses emotions. The military men of today are flooding the Veteran's Hospitals and the increase of suicides is becoming rampant.

We also are seeing an increase of abuse of women and children by men and in wondering about it, I have realized that men have been spiritually abused by not only the military. Within every male and female there is a Spirit--a Divine Spirit that is part of the Creator. Some label this Spirit/Creator as God and think that the God they believe in is the only God.

Spiritual Abuse has been going on for eons and now it is erupting into rage, illnesses and suicides. This is more evident in the male than the female. Men have been programmed to war, sports, movies of action, which are really violent, television, the news media and advertising. Just as the Marine Silent Drill Team move in unison like robots, men are prone to violence when deep within them there is their spiritual side crying to be released.

Think of the word ill. Break it down and it means I lack love--love of self. Everyone has a piece of God lurking inside of them just waiting to be acknowledged. Everyone has a direct connection to God or the Creator. As a co-pilot, everyone has a Soul dwelling within. The Soul is recording every word spoken and every thought. Unfortunately, through the ages God has been thought to be a He or a Him and living somewhere up there with an eye checking to see who has been naughty and who has been nice. This is Spiritual Abuse at its extreme limits.

Spiritual Abuse is perpetuated by religions, which are man-made. When a religion teaches that Jesus died on the cross for their sins, then that is abuse and robs the individual for taking responsibility for their actions. If a religion teaches that man (women too) is a sinner, then that is spiritual abuse. If a religion teaches that one can go to hell and there is a devil, then that is Spiritual Abuse. The primary culprit of spiritual abuse is teaching people that God is outside of them and promoting prejudices, judgements, bigotry, and discrimination.

Religions have taught that men are superior to women. One only has to read the Bible and especially the Old Testament where they teach that Eve seduced Adam. Some even say that the downfall of man stems from this myth. Adam was the first being created and in order for there to be procreation, a female was created and labeled Eve. Eve was the evolution of Adam. She is the one who had the ability to think faster. (I go into this more on another blog: http://feminine-point-of-view.blogspot.com/)

To add to this postings, on this last Sunday in Knoxville, TN, a man went into a church and killed two people in the congregation because of the church's liberal position. The gunman was frustrated about being out-of-work and resented the church's advocation of women's and gay rights and the establishment of an American Civil Liberties Union chapter. The actions of this man is a result of the spiritual abuse I have written about.

From my 79 years of living, I have learned that to emerge from spiritual abuse that one must become a seeker and give up guilt, resentments, jealousy, envy, greed and thinking one is better than another. This is when the Spirit emerges. Meister Eckhardt once wrote: The greatest prayer is two words - Thank You.

Psychological, Mental, Whiners Equal Recession

Have you ever wondered how politicians come up with the spin they do? The latest spin is the use of two words: mental and psychological in referring to the slowdown of the U.S. economy. George Bush has used the word psychological in referring to the recession as well as McCain. Phil Graham, who resigned as one of Bush's advisers calls it mental and Americans whiners. I have noticed that slowdown is replacing recession. Is it really a slowdown with banks closing? Is it really a slowdown that major chain stores are closing all over the country? A few of the retail stores closing many of their stores across the nation are Gap, Eddie Bauer, Lane Bryant, Fast Locker, Home Depot, Macy's, Pep Boys, Starbucks and Wickes Furniture and Levitz along with Zales are going out of business. JC Penney, Lowes and Office Depot are scaling back.

If you look at the list, one can perceive that clothing stores, home improvement and furniture stores are the hardest hit. With the high cost of gasoline, oil and food, one wonders about their mentality. Could it be that the three men mentioned are the ones out of touch with the reality of the American public? Are they the ones who have a problem with being mental, psychological and whiners? It really is something to think about. It makes one wonder if there is anyone home or are they out to lunch.

WHAT IS YOUR MENTAL EQUIVALENT?

Have you ever wondered what your mental equivalent is?

Yesterday as I was cleaning around my bookcase(s) a small booklet fell out. I picked it up, looked at it and I thought “Hmmm. There are no accidents.” The title of this small booklet is The Mental Equivalent by Emmet Fox. Not too many people have heard of Emmet Fox. In the first half of the last century, he was very well known. Born in Ireland, he made his way to the
U. S. and in 1931 he was ordained a Divine Science minister by founder Nona Brooks.

Fox has been labeled an author, teacher, minister, healer and mystic. From my perspective, he was all of these things. He is best known for his book Sermon on the Mount. He has also been called a New Thought minister/teacher; however he labels himself as a metaphysician in this small booklet.

He has crammed into this booklet a powerhouse of information in a concise form. He was saying the same thing that The Secret and other books have said. Fox at one time held services in the Manhattan Opera House in New York City with 4,000 to 5,000 attending each service. His message was simple.

My understanding is that what we experience in our outer world has a mental equivalent in our inner world. Our thoughts, beliefs and attitudes create our outer world. If one has a health challenge and the desire for wellness is there, then the inner thought and belief must be changed to the mental equivalent of wellness. It is simple to say, however it take practice to change an entrenched attitude or belief. In other words, what are you giving attention to with your common thoughts? Is it lack? Is it resentment? Is it anger? Is it unforgiveness? Is it pain and suffering?

If there is a belief in lack, then the mental equivalent is revealed in your everyday thoughts and conversation. Most people enjoy talking about their woes and play the ‘ain’t it awful game.’ Worry and fear brings forth the mental equivalent in the outer world. I have heard people complain about their debts, never having enough money and they keep repeating this to other people. This only reinforces a mental equivalent of lack.

Fox gives the example of the trinity – or triad. There have been trinities in ancient Egypt, Chaldea and Babylonia long before the creation of Christianity. The Christian trinity of Father, Son and Holy Ghost was a plagiarism of ancient knowledge. The true trinity is father, mother and child – meaning that father represents the idea or the thought. Mother represents the activity. The mother carries the thought in her womb while nurturing it. The child is the demonstration or the manifestation.

To bring forth change, one must have clarity of what is wanted. Clarity is the handmaiden to intent. What change is wanted? To bring forth a dream or a desire, there must be attention. There must be an overlay of a new thought over the old thought. This is nourished with interest. How interested are you in having a change in your life? What interest are you showing? How much attention are you giving it? A lukewarm response won’t do it. There must be enthusiasm or feeling. Enthusiasm and feeling are not accompanied with emotion. Have you ever noticed that people who are doing what they love to do sparkle? Sparkle is the result of interest or giving attention to what they loved to do.

According to Fox, The law of mind is that you can only get rid of one thought by substituting another…For everything in life there has to be a mental equivalent. He goes on to say to change an attitude about mistakes is to look at them as learning experiences. Get the thought of what you want as clear as you can. Be definite but not too specific. Fox also wrote that there can be no sickness without fear. Fear and doubt are the blocks that one must overlay with what one wants to be or to accomplish.

In The Mental Equivalent, Fox reiterated over and over, Change your thought and keep it changed. As the piano teacher said, practice, practice, and practice. If a new mental equivalent is wanted, then the price is to give up the old and lousy. It is similar to turning in a used car for a newer model.

What Is It To Live Joyously?

Have you ever wondered what it is like to live in Joy? I have and a number of years ago I came up with some personal rules for me that I will share with you now.
1. Every day I wake up and say, "Isn't life great!"
2. I try never to 'should' on others nor do I 'should' on myself.
3. I never hold on to grudges, anger or resentment. I have learned that those emotions only bring on illness. They hurt me more than they do others.
4. I never hold on to jealousy. Ditto for number 3. I have had a painful experience and learned.
5. I promise myself to be kind to me and never judge me for being right or wrong.
6. I practice watching the words I speak and think because I know they have power and the words and thoughts are what I attract to me.
7. I never should on me when I make a 'mistake'. It wasn't a mis-take. It was only an experience and I gain the wisdom. .
8. I remind myself to never say, I wish, I hope, or never to allow doubt come in. Instead, I remind myself to say, "I know."
9. I laugh a lot. I have been told laughter is from God.
10. I sing to myself: I am happy, I am healthy, I am wealthy, I am wise knowing that the truth sets me free.

If everyone created their own personal rules for living, wouldn't this be a more interesting world?

WHO ARE THE GIFTED?

Have you ever wondered who the gifted are? Creative and imaginative people are often not recognized by their contemporaries, family or peers. In fact, they are not recognized in school by their teachers either. Many of these gifted people are late bloomers in some their schooling stifled their creative processes. Consider some of these:
Einstein: Was four years old before he could speak and seven before he could read.
Isaac Newton: Did poorly in grade school.
Beethoven: His music teacher once said of him, "As a composer, he is hopeless!"
Thomas Edison: His teachers told him he was too stupid to learn anything.
F.W. Woolworth: He got a job in a dry goods store when he was 21, but his employers would not let him wait on customers because he "didn't have enough sense."
Walt Disney: He was fired by a newspaper editor because he "didn't have any creative ideas." Art Linkletter tells the story of Disney taking him out to Anahim, CA to look at a big empty spanse of land telling him of his dream for a theme park. He wanted Art to invest in his dream and Linkletter turned him down. The rest is history.
Caruso: A music teacher told him: "You can't sing. You have no voice at all."
Leo Tolstoy: He failed college.
Werner Van Braun: He failed 9th grade algebra.
Adm. Richard E. Byrd: He was retired from the Navy as, "Unfit for Service" until he flew over both poles.
Louis Pasteur: Was rated as mediocre in chemistry when he attended the royal college.
Abraham Lincoln: He entered the Black Hawk War as a Captain and came out as a Private.
Louisa May Alcott: She was told by an editor that she could never write anything that had popular appeal.
Winston Churchill: He failed the 6th grade.
What does this tell us? Never give up. Follow our own knowingness and our dream. Never let anyone 'should' on your dream.

WHY DO YOU BELIEVE?

Have you ever wondered why you believe what you do? Recently I listened to an interview with Alvin Toffler, author of Revolutionary Wealth and other books. In this interview he referred to beliefs and gave some very interesting points that I want to share. Most people have no idea of why they believe or how they decide to believe. The following are two points are what I have thought about and I am now sharing.

*Authority. We have authority figures and too many people blindly accept what they profess to be true as their belief. I am an avid researcher and no longer do I accept anyone’s word. When I read a book and it has a bibliography, I often read or have read the same books listed and by doing so broaden my knowledge base so that I can decide for myself. I have learned that there are really no authorities on any subject and this leads into another reason of why people believe.

*Acceptance. We (collectively) assume that because someone has a power position that this person(s) is an authority. Therefore accepting someone’s power position empowers the power holder(s) and creates a belief that a person, institution, or group knows what they are talking about. As a child I accepted what I was told by my parents, my church, what I was taught in school and other sources. I am reminded of a song we were taught in Sunday school: Jesus loves me. This I know. For the Bible tells me so. This is blind acceptance. I also know that I accepted a belief that I could not talk to God because if I did, God would strike me dead. This was very confusing, but I accepted these two beliefs until I grew up and left home. My breakaway point came when I entered the Foreign Service of the U.S. State Department. I grew up in segregated Texas and many of my beliefs were uprooted when I was assigned to the embassy in Paris. This has led to an uncommon non-academic education.

Too often we accept a belief because there is a consensus – meaning we accept a collective opinion or a general agreement. We accept our beliefs for various reasons such as everyone say so, there is a consistency in information, the media promotion, the durability of a belief, and scientific research or someone has had a revelation. There is also the belief in superstition. Superstitions were instilled in me as a child such as don’t walk under a leaning ladder, don’t step on a crack or it will break your mother’s back, carry a rabbit’s foot for good luck and Friday the 13^th was a bad luck day. It was years before I learned why Friday the 13^th was a bad luck day. It was the day in 1314 when Jacques DeMolay, a Knights Templar was burned at the stake. Thus a myth was born.

Over the years my beliefs have changed drastically and I can attribute this to seeking knowledge and wanting to know. Because a doctor has gone through medical school, the majority of people assume he/she is an authority and believe what the doctor tells them. Doctors are not infallible. Too often they rely on what pharmaceutical literature and salespeople tell them. The doctors become overloaded in their practices and have no time to research for themselves, so they may prescribe drugs that have adverse effects on the patient. People misplace their trust in the infallibility of their doctor without doing some research for themselves. They do not seek a second or a third opinion. I have often wondered how many people have died needlessly due to a doctor’s mis-diagnosis or prescribed medications.

The scientific community is an interesting aspect. Rarely do scientists agree. Each has their own point of view or their belief. I remember reading an article some years ago that peanut butter caused cancer. Then another researcher said that it was healthy some years later. Another example is eggs. It came out from the scientific community that eggs were supposedly bad for people due to the cholesterol and some years later another study said they were healthy because they contained the good cholesterol. From my research, eggs are one of the healthiest foods one can eat. Even science is not infallible regardless of the number of blind studies.

Too many people place their belief in the infallibility of their religious authorities. As the one statement in the song I just quoted above states, “because the bible tells me so,” is an example. This is a major belief and it is a challenge to shake people’s beliefs because they have been taught to accept in blind faith thus creating closed minds. There is one thing that cannot be changed and that is a closed mind. It must be opened from the inside.

I can only come from my own experiences and research knowledge. When I left Texas, I opened my mind to receive new information. This was the greatest turning point in my life. I put my beliefs I had been taught by my church on hold and became for a period of time an agnostic. An agnostic is not an atheist. I use this word in the sense that I was noncommittal. After I married and had children, I attempted to become involved in going to church again because I had a belief that my children should be exposed to religion.

My husband was a career military man and we moved often. Wherever we lived, I learned that my answers were not to be found in any church and I dropped away until in my late forties. When I reached my fortieth birthday, a thought would come to me that by the time I was fifty my life would be changed. This thought flitted through my mind off and on through the next ten years. At fifty my life had changed. In looking back, I can see Vietnam and the Watergate scandal contributed to my changes. I began to question. I also began a search for the spiritual aspect of myself. This led to a divorce and a year later I entered my ministry by being ordained as a Divine Science minister. This was another great turning point in my life.

My belief in my ministry was only a stepping-stone and I chose to retire from it. I had discovered that if I was going to stand up and give a message that I had to learn to live what I said. I knew I did not want to be a hypocrite. My late husband and I moved to Washington State after he retired over twenty years ago. I have been a student of an academy of the mind, the Ramtha School of Enlightenment for twenty years. Ramtha’s teachings have resonated within my being. He has taught me not to accept what he teaches us, but to research and to experience so that we know it ourselves. The following is a quote from Ramtha’s White Book.

“Never believe in anything. Never! That is convincing yourself of something you have yet to know and understand through experience. And belief is very dangerous, because in belief, you are placing your life, your attitudes and your trust in something which is not founded itself as a truth within your being—which causes you to become very vulnerable. And in that state of vulnerability, you can be manipulated, accursed, damned, and can lose your life—all because of belief.

“Know whatever it is you wish to know. And you can do that simply by asking for the understanding and then listening to the feelings within your being. Always trust the wisdom of your feelings. Never go against them and try to force a belief upon yourself that doesn’t feel good inside.”

IS FOOD BAD FOR YOU?

The news that has been coming out the past few years - and especially this year, is that this food or that food is contaminated, poisoned or not healthy. Really? It is something to wonder about and I have. When I grew up all food was considered healthy. As a little girl I use to make mud pies and eat them - yes, eat them! I never did have worms or get sick. Oh, I had measles, scarlett fever, whooping cough and the chicken pox along with colds and flu. But that was about it.

I have heard it said that one should become a vegetarian. (dislike being 'shoulded' on.) I use to work at a holistic health center and was exposed to almost every modality of health and healing there was at the time. I also learned that prominent vegetarians died from cancer or leukemia. I also, in my research found out that meat is good because of the enzymes and proteins. I have also been told that one shouldn't kill the cows or animals for food. Really?

I have been taught that everything is alive and that there is some form of consciousness in everything, including a carrot. Have you heard the carrot scream when you pulled it out of the ground? Have you heard it scream when you juiced it? It is something to think about. Just because it doesn't make an audible sound doesn't mean it doesn't feel. How about the fish?There is a food chain in this world.

I wonder about the eating habits here in the United States. I am sure we are the sickest nation of people on this planet. All one has to do is drive around in the early morning, in towns and cities and see no empty parking spaces in the medical centers' parking lots or the hospitals. The more the pharmaceutical companies create new drugs, the sicker the population becomes. It is something to wonder about.

I have also read about other cultures in the world. The food eaten is vastly different from that in the western world and especially in the U.S. The news media is now releasing information about foods becoming poisoned or contaminated not only in the U.S. but in others countries. Have you ever wondered why? Could it be an accumulation of toxic wastes, pesticides and other contaminants?

Do I have a solution? I can only speak for myself and share my knowledge. I read labels. I am also aware that not all organic produce/fruits from foreign countries are totally organic because they do not have the regulations that fully control it, therefore I grow much of my own and I also buy locally. Farmers markets are a wonderful place to buy foods. I also preserve much of my food. Time consuming? Not really when one considers the other side of the coin. Those who live in cities can grow foods in containers. Container gardens are becoming more and more popular. It is very easy to become a fanatic about what we eat and this can become addictive and undermine our health in a sense.

I know that by blessing everything I eat or drink is powerful and can change the molecular structure of whatever I put into my mouth and body. Therefore I always bless my food and my drink for the health and nourishment it gives my body. This was the original intent of blessing one's food and giving thanks. Somewhere along the way the intent became changed to 'thanking God' for providing us for our food, etc. We have the power within us and the spiritual essence within each of us hears the message and does the work. It isn't some guy in the sky. Heresy? Only if you think so. I have been taught very well.

In the Bible, there is a verse that says "As a man thinketh, so he is." There is also another one that states, "It is done unto you as you believe." It is something to think about.

As a testimonial to myself, I will soon be 78 years young and as stated above, I have had few illnesses. I have had some broken bones, my tonsils out and an appendectomy. I refuse to live in fear. As my Teacher has said, "Attitude is everything." Life is a gift and to be treasured.

Something to Think About

Have you ever wondered what “I” means? We say I am, I did, I have and so on. Is it your name? Your personality? Or could it be that “I” is another name for God? It is something to think about.

The dictionary defines the word spend as: to use up, exhaust, consume, or wear out. Now apply the word spend to I spend my money…I spend my time…. We wonder why we never seem to have enough money or enough time. It is something to think about. Why not change it to I invest my time or I invest my money. It’s something to think about.

Have you ever wondered what your life would be if you had no shoulds and no should nots? Think about it. How would you live your life?

What benefits do you reap with every negative thought or emotion you think or send? What if you sent out thoughts of love or do an act of kindness to someone and also to yourself? What would be your loss? To give up negativity you would lose stress, anger, sadness, fear, lack to name a few. What would you gain? It’s something to think about.

An ancient Chinese proverb says: Consider the patience of a mulberry leaf in order for it to become a silken garment.

Water without movement becomes stagnant. The same applies to the mind. It’s something to think about.

There is an old saying: You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink… Perhaps this means we have free will in every aspect of our life. It’s something to think about.

An interesting observation is that the sun is referred to as a he, whereas the moon is referred to as a she. Therefore why is it we are told there is a man in the moon? Have you ever wondered why? It’s something to think about.

Why is it that when we first hear of a new concept or a new philosophy it sounds like a foreign language? It is only when we persist to know, do we decipher and understand.

How can you tell if someone walking and breathing is dead inside? Look into their eyes. There is no one home.

The decline of a civilization is not a sudden happening. It is a slow insidious erosion and arrives at a dead end. When we become aware of the decline is when we begin to observe misplaced priorities along with the erosion of personal values and morals. When there is an emphasis placed on sensual pleasure, greed, power, war, and hypocrisy, then no civilization can last. It’s something to think about.

What do you think happens when you wake up one morning and realize you are no longer a victim and have never been? That on some levels you created it all? It means you have become born again and are expanding your mind and that is when you begin to truly live. It’s something to think about.

Do you know what makes a rare individual? It is stepping away from the sheep. In other words you are no longer a sheeple because you have developed your own mind.

Change is the metamorphosis of human into the realization of being an aspect of God. It is similar to the metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly. Have you ever wondered if the caterpillar experienced pain in its transformation? It’s something to think about.

The greatest opiates to the human brain are religions, television, competitive games, addictions to alcohol, drugs and the news media because in them there is no room for the expansion of Mind. It’s something to think about.

A philosopher is nothing more than a magnificent filing cabinet. It contains a vast amount of information with very little or no experience.

What is a wise woman? What is a wise man? Each is one who has lived life and gained the jewel of wisdom from each experience.

A wise woman and a wise man prepares and tends the soil of their mind without fertilizing it with toxic thoughts.

What is the greatest scapegoat created by man? Who else but Satan or the Devil. Both wield an immense power because man has placed the responsibility for his errors and evils on an illusion outside of himself. If Satan or the Devil were to exist, it would mean we have two Gods. The God of Evil and the God of Good. It is something to think about.

What is compassion? It is having the ability to observe from the Bigger Self instead of reacting from the emotions of the smaller self.

Have You Ever Wondered If People Are Cured of Cancer?

A Personal Miracle - by Bill D.

On April 3, 2007, I had a colonoscopy performed to locate the source of my rectal bleeding. The results revealed that I had a mass on the wall of my rectum that was about 1.2 inches in diameter and malignant.

The doctor who performed the colonoscopy referred me to a surgeon. We met in his office.

The surgeon informed me that my entire rectum would have to be removed and that he couldn’t guarantee that he could connect everything back together, which would mean a colostomy. He also said that although he does much of his surgeries laparoscopically, he would have to do open surgery for my case. I was stunned, in shock.

He further informed me that he wanted me to do six weeks of chemotherapy and radiation to shrink the tumor as much as possible before surgery. An oncologist would consult with me about the recipe for the chemo.

I told him that I was very resistant to both chemo and radiation. He became annoyed with me and told me that if I didn’t follow the standard protocol for my condition that I would experience “a terrible way to die.”

I left the surgeon’s office determined to find an alternative. I did have a CT scan done at his recommendation and a chest X-ray. Both were negative as far as any spread of the cancer is concerned.

A friend sent me a link to videos of a presentation given by Dr Bill Deagle that was made in December of 2006. There was a lot of information on the videos, some of which focused on how to remain healthy in a toxic world. Dr Deagle mentioned that he did telephone consultations, so I called him. When I explained my situation, he asked me to e-mail a medical history. He said he would put together some information for me.

When I got the information, some by phone and some in a report e-mailed to me, he told me about a woman in Little Rock Arkansas who cured cancer using light. Because my growth was only 2.5 inches from the outside, he thought that she might be able to reach it with her process.

I e-mailed this woman, Dr Carpenter (her PhD is in physics) to ask if she could help me. She called back and told me with utmost confidence that my tumor would be dead with only three treatments and sent me an information packet.

The packet explained that the treatment she had pioneered involved injecting the tumor with an agent that only the cancer cells absorbed. The tumor is then hit with a near infra red light. The light causes the cells with the agent in them to heat up and die. Normal cells are unaffected. I was intrigued.

After asking a few more questions and getting answers I liked, I decided to go ahead with the treatment. We scheduled three appointments for the week of June 11th.

The fee for the treatments was $7,000. Normally, it would have been $3,750, but I was going to need her anesthesiologist partner to do a block at the base of my spine for each treatment and that raised the cost.

I flew to Little Rock, found my way to her treatment center and had my first treatment on June 12th. It was painless and took about an hour. Dr Carpenter informed me that my tumor was flattening and that some of the tissue was already starting to look like normal tissue.

During the second treatment, Dr Carpenter told me that the tumor looked very different from the way it looked during the first treatment (a positive sign). I had one more treatment on Saturday, June 16th and then headed for home with my tumor completely dead. When I told her that I didn’t know how to thank her, she said, “Go home and have a good life.”

I was sore from the retractor that was used to open me up and from the injections of the pain killer. But it was nothing that Tylenol couldn’t handle.

I now am cancer free, can live a normal life (no restrictions) and I didn’t have to have toxic chemicals shot into my body or receive any radiation. I also didn’t have to have very invasive surgery, a long hospital stay or a bag attached to my side for the rest of my life. I will have about three months of continued bleeding as the dead cells are sloughed off by the body. That’s just an inconvenience.

If you know anyone who is facing decisions about cancer, I urge you to tell them about Dr Carpenter. You can check her out at www.lasemedinc.com. At the present time, she cannot administer general anesthesia and can’t operate on most organs (she did cure a liver cancer because they knew where the tumor was located). The tumor has to be pin pointed and be no more than four inches from the surface.

Dr Carpenter has been fighting the medical establishment for 20 years. She is a warrior. I love her for her tenacity. She is the only person doing this therapy. It is called Light Induced Enhanced Selective Hyperthermia. She has a patent on this process. I bless her for her service to humanity. Bill
